BARF diet for a dog with a fibrous liver and elevated copper deposits.

New to the site. Kesko is a 5 year old standard poodle that has been diagnosed with elevated ALP AND ALT.  Liver biopsy shows copper deposits. Ultrasound shows a fibrous liver.  After meeting with homeopathic and conventional vets, we switch him to a raw diet and supplement him with 400 mg Zentonil daily along with milk thistle capsules and Ursidiol.  Previously his blood work showed many food allergies which of course we avoided but nothing seemed to work.  We have decided to allow him to enjoy real food for the time he has left.  The problem is that he is still losing weight!  He is eating about 2 lbs of mixed protein daily along with either broccoli , sweet potatoes and yoghurt.  Kesko is very happy and remains active like a puppy.  I saw your food\calorie calculation and will try that but may add flax oil and vitamin E. Any other suggestions?  ALT and ALP still in the 700and 1300 range. Vet said lover is not regenerating but also said that he can still live a long life?

Kesko's mom, by any chance, have you seen the recipe for Satin Balls? My suggestion would be to print it out and share it with the homeopathic vet to make sure it's ok to add to Kesko's list of foods in hopes they will help him gain some weight.

If you decide to share this recipe with your homeopathic vet, please let us know vet's decision and how it works for Kesko, if you are permitted to add the Satin Balls!
